Meet Katie

Hi, I'm Katie Steele!

There are lots of words that describe me—wife, bonus mom, dog mom, fun aunt, employee, needlepointer... and now, owner of The Stitch Shop. While each of those roles has shaped who I am, becoming part of the needlepoint community has brought so much joy into my life.

Over the past year, we've worked together to build a wonderful needlepoint community here in Clarksville. What started as a handful of stitchers gathering around a table has grown into a welcoming group of friends who encourage one another, celebrate finished projects, and never hesitate to help someone learn a new stitch. Along the way, it became clear that our growing community needed a place to shop for the supplies we love without having to wait on shipping or travel out of town.

That's why The Stitch Shop was created.

This isn't just my shop—it's your shop. My goal is to stock the products you want and need, and if there's something you're looking for that you don't see on our shelves, please let me know. I'll do my best to bring it in and continue building an inventory that reflects our community.

Whether you're picking up your very first canvas or your hundredth, I hope you'll feel right at home when you walk through our doors. And if you're brand new to needlepoint, don't worry, you've found the right place. Our community is filled with kind, encouraging people who remember what it was like to be beginners, and they'll welcome you with open arms.
